What is denim shoddy?
Denim shoddy is recycled fibre mechanically recovered from post-industrial denim waste. The denim clips are sorted by shade, then opened on pulling lines back into spinnable fibre — giving yarn and nonwoven producers a sustainable, cost-effective alternative to virgin cotton.
What is denim shoddy used for?
Its main applications are open-end (rotor) spinning for recycled denim yarns, nonwoven felts and insulation, mop yarns, and automotive padding. Because the indigo colour is already in the fibre, many applications skip dyeing entirely — saving water and cost.
Can you supply denim shoddy regularly and in container loads?
Yes. Denim shoddy is part of our 2,500 tons/month production, pressed into 350–450 kg export bales and loaded container-optimised. We ship to 28+ countries on weekly schedules and can lock volumes with long-term contracts.
