EU regulation has turned textile recycling into a sector with legally mandated demand growth. Dunya Textile brings four decades of proven operations to that opportunity — and we are open to international investment and partnership conversations.
The European Union generates roughly 12.6 million tonnes of textile waste per year — and until recently only about one-fifth of it was collected separately. Since January 2025, separate collection is mandatory in every EU Member State; by 2028, mandatory Extended Producer Responsibility (EPR) schemes will make producers finance the collection, sorting and recycling of every textile product sold in the EU.
Collection can scale quickly. Processing cannot: it requires licensed facilities, sorting know-how and trained workforces built over decades. As collected volumes surge, the gap between supply of waste and installed recycling capacity becomes the defining opportunity of the sector — and Türkiye, with its garment industry feedstock and processing tradition, sits at its geographic and industrial center.

Four decades of continuous, cash-generating operations through every market cycle. A licensed facility approved by the Turkish Ministry of Environment, in-house quality control, and lot-level composition declarations — the traceability that customers and capital increasingly require.
Our recycled denim and cotton fibres supply spinners, nonwoven producers and automotive suppliers in more than 28 countries, on weekly export schedules from Ergene, Türkiye — days from EU customers, not weeks.
